Codification Section 61d was editorially reclassified as section 6651 of this title. Section 6651 of this title was subsequently repealed by Pub. L. 11694, div. E, title II, § 212(a)(3)(G), Dec. 20, 2019, 133 Stat. 2776.
Prior ProvisionsA prior section 61d, Pub. L. 93145, Nov. 1, 1973, 87 Stat. 528; Pub. L. 9526, title I, May 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 80; Pub. L. 9638, title I, § 103, July 25, 1979, 93 Stat. 112; Pub. L. 9751, § 121, Oct. 1, 1981, 95 Stat. 965, provided that effective October 1, 1981, the compensation of Chaplain of Senate would be $52,750. Another prior section 61d, acts Aug. 5, 1955, ch. 568, § 1, 69 Stat. 499; July 12, 1960, Pub. L. 86628, 74 Stat. 446; Aug. 14, 1964, Pub. L. 88426, title II, § 203(h), 78 Stat. 415; Dec. 12, 1969, Pub. L. 91145, 83 Stat. 340; Aug. 18, 1970, Pub. L. 91382, 84 Stat. 808, made provision for the appointment of a Secretary to Chaplain of Senate and prescribed compensation of Chaplain of Senate and Secretary to Chaplain.
