# California AB 5 (20092010 Special Session 2) — Employment: alternative workweek schedules.
Existing law authorizes an employer to propose an alternative workweek schedule, as defined, that may be either a single, standard work schedule or part of a menu of work schedule options offered to the employees. Under existing law, approval by secret ballot election of at least 23 of the affected employees in a work unit is required for adoption of an alternative workweek schedule.

# California AB 7 (20092010 Special Session 2) — Residential mortgage loans: foreclosure.
Existing law requires that, upon a breach of the obligation of a mortgage or transfer of an interest in property, the trustee, mortgagee, or beneficiary record a notice of default in the office of the county recorder where the mortgaged or trust property is situated and mail the notice of default to the mortgagor or trustor. Existing law provides that, after not less than 3 months after the filing of the notice of default, the parties described above may give notice of sale, stating the time and place of the sale, as specified.

# California AB 8 (20092010 Special Session 2) — State government.
