# California AB 286 (20092010) — Vehicles: additional registration fees.

Existing law, in addition to the other fees imposed for the registration of a vehicle, imposes, as a county option with certain exceptions, an additional fee of $1, and an additional service fee of $2, on all commercial motor vehicles, and continuously appropriates the money to fund local programs relating to vehicle theft crimes. These provisions are to be repealed as of January 1, 2010.
