# California SB 746 (20172018) — Firearms and ammunition: prohibited possession: transfer to licensed dealer.

(1) Existing law prohibits a person who has been convicted of, or has an outstanding warrant for, a felony, or who is addicted to the use of any narcotic drug, from owning, purchasing, receiving, or possessing a firearm. Existing law prohibits a person who has been convicted of, or has an outstanding warrant for, certain misdemeanors, from owning, purchasing, receiving, or possessing a firearm, as specified.
