# Illinois SB 2176 (102nd) — UNIFORM ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION

Creates the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. Provides that a contract, record, or signature may not be denied legal effect or enforceability simply because it is in electronic form or an electronic record was used in its formation.
