Provides that a child sex offender who photographs, videotapes, or takes a digital image of a child at a playground, park facility, school, forest preserve, day care facility, or at a facility providing programs or services directed to persons under 17 years of age is guilty of a Class 1 felony. Creates the offense of unlawful sending of a public conveyance travel ticket to a minor. Creates the offense of solicitation to meet a child. Creates the offense of manufacturing child erotica."

# Illinois SB 2349 (95th) — CRIM CD-SEX OFFENSES-CHILD

Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that it is unlawful for a child sex offender to knowingly communicate, using the Internet or any other digital media, with a person under 18 years of age or with a person whom he or she believes to be a person under 18 years of age, unless the offender is a parent or guardian of the person under 18 years of age.
