Cancellation of Assessed Unpaid FeesPub. L. 96–363, § 2(b), Sept. 26, 1980, 94 Stat. 1207, provided that: “The Secretary of the Interior may cancel any unpaid fees assessed under the provisions repealed by this section [sections 375b and 377 of this title].”
