# Illinois SB 1487 (99th) — COOK CTY RECORDER-TITLE FREEZE

Amends the Counties Code. Provides that the recorder of deeds in a county with a population of more than 3,000,000 shall establish a pilot program that permits documents to be recorded against a property in foreclosure by judicial order only. Provides that the pilot program shall last from January 1, 2016 to January 1, 2019.
