Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 -> 59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun, verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make legal-us-code default now covers every title. 14 U.S.C. § 523 - Enforcement authority
Text
Subject to guidelines approved by the Secretary, members of the Coast Guard, in the performance of official duties, may—
(1) carry a firearm; and
(2) while at a facility (as defined in section 70101 of title 46)—
(A) make an arrest without warrant for any offense against the United States committed in their presence; and
(B) seize property as otherwise provided by law.
