Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 -> 59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun, verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make legal-us-code default now covers every title. 18 U.S.C. § 1547 - Alternative imprisonment maximum for certain offenses
Text
Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, the maximum term of imprisonment that may be imposed for an offense under this chapter (other than an offense under section 1545)—
(1) if committed to facilitate a drug trafficking crime (as defined in 929(a)) is 15 years; and
(2) if committed to facilitate an act of international terrorism (as defined in section 2331) is 20 years.
