Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 -> 59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun, verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make legal-us-code default now covers every title. 36 U.S.C. § 140302 - Purposes
Text
The purposes of the corporation are—
(1) to safeguard and strengthen the forces of faith and morality of our Nation;
(2) to perpetuate and deepen the bonds of understanding and friendship of our military service;
(3) to preserve our spiritual influence and interest in all members and veterans of the Armed Forces;
(4) to uphold the Constitution of the United States; and
(5) to promote justice, peace, and good will.
