42 U.S.C. § 2015 - Transfer of property

Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to repeal, modify, amend, or alter the provisions of section 9(a) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1946, as heretofore amended.

For complete classification of this Act to the Code, see Short Title note set out under section 2011 of this title and Tables. Section 9(a) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1946, as heretofore amended, referred to in text, which was formerly classified to section 1809(a) of this title, provided that: “The President shall direct the transfer to the Commission of all interests owned by the United States or any Government agency in the following property: “(1) All fissionable material; all atomic weapons and parts thereof; all facilities, equipment, and materials for the processing, production, or utilization of fissionable material or atomic energy; all processes and technical information of any kind, and the source thereof (including data, drawings, specifications, patents, patent applications, and other sources (relating to the processing, production, or utilization of fissionable material or atomic energy; and all contracts, agreements, leases, patents, applications for patents, inventions and discoveries (whether patented or unpatented), and other rights of any kind concerning any such items; “(2) All facilities, equipment, and materials, devoted primarily to atomic energy research and development; and “(3) Such other property owned by or in the custody or control of the Manhattan Engineer District or other Government agencies as the President may determine.”

Prior ProvisionsProvisions similar to those comprising this section were contained in section 9 of act Aug. 1, 1946, ch. 724, 60 Stat. 765, which was classified to section 1809 of this title, prior to the complete amendment and renumbering of act Aug. 1, 1946, by act Aug. 30, 1954.
