Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 -> 59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun, verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make legal-us-code default now covers every title. 46 U.S.C. § 14503 - Certificate of measurement
Text
(a) The Secretary shall prescribe the certificate to be issued as evidence of a vessel’s measurement under this chapter.
(b) The certificate shall be maintained as required by the Secretary.

Historical and Revision NotesRevised section 14503 Source: Section (U.S. Code) 46 App. U.S.C. 72. Section 14503 requires the Secretary to issue a certificate, in a manner that is to be prescribed by the Secretary, as evidence of a vessel’s regulatory measurement.
