Bill	Corrections.	The Public Safety and Offender Rehabilitation Services Act of 2007, among other things, authorizes the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) , a participating county, as defined, and the State Public Works Board (SPWB) to enter into a construction agreement in order to acquire, design, and construct a local jail facility approved by the Corrections Standards Authority, as specified. The act further authorizes the SPWB to issue up to $750,000,000 in revenue bonds, notes, or bond anticipation notes to finance the acquisition, design, or construction of approved local jail facilities and appropriates funds for that purpose.
