Bill	Aboveground storage tanks: enforcement.	(1) The Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act (act) defines, for purposes of the act, an "aboveground storage tank" as a tank that has the capacity to store 55 gallons or more of petroleum and that is substantially or totally above the surface of the ground, except as specified. Existing law requires every county to apply to the Secretary for Environmental Protection to be certified to implement the unified hazardous waste and hazardous materials management regulatory program (unified program) and allows a city or local agency to implement the unified program. California AB 1566 (20112012) — Aboveground storage tanks: enforcement.

(1) The Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act (act) defines, for purposes of the act, an "aboveground storage tank" as a tank that has the capacity to store 55 gallons or more of petroleum and that is substantially or totally above the surface of the ground, except as specified.
