Bill Structural pest control. Existing law defines, licenses, and regulates structural pest control operators and creates the Structural Pest Control Board in the Department of Consumers Affairs to administer these provisions. Existing law defines a registered company to be specified types of business organizations registered with the board to engage in the practice of structural pest control, and defines a "qualifying manager" as the licensed operator or operators designated by a registered company to supervise the daily business of the company and to be available to supervise and assist the company's employees. Existing law prescribes 3 different classifications of structural pest control licenses, which are termed branches, based on the types of pest control work permitted. California AB 1874 (20152016) — Structural pest control.

Existing law defines, licenses, and regulates structural pest control operators and creates the Structural Pest Control Board in the Department of Consumers Affairs to administer these provisions. Existing law defines a registered company to be specified types of business organizations registered with the board to engage in the practice of structural pest control, and defines a "qualifying manager" as the licensed operator or operators designated by a registered company to supervise the daily business of the company and to be available to supervise and assist the company's employees.
