Bill	Traffic: Cities of Burbank, Glendale, and Los Angeles.	Existing law generally sets forth prima facie speed limits, unless changed or otherwise authorized by law. Existing law permits local authorities to set prima facie speed limits on the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, as defined, if the different speed limit is necessary to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and safe. California AB 2955 (20172018) — Traffic: Cities of Burbank, Glendale, and Los Angeles.

Existing law generally sets forth prima facie speed limits, unless changed or otherwise authorized by law. Existing law permits local authorities to set prima facie speed limits on the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, as defined, if the different speed limit is necessary to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and safe.
