| Bill | State government. | (1) Existing law authorizes airports to require rental car companies to collect a customer facility charge or an alternative customer facility charge under specified circumstances for purposes that include financing, designing, and constructing airport vehicle rental facilities and common-use transportation systems. The law requires that the aggregate amount to be collected not exceed the reasonable costs, as determined by an independent audit paid for by the airport, to finance, design, and construct those facilities. Existing law requires additional audits with respect to an alternative customer facility charge when the airport increases that charge and requires an audit every 3 years where the revenues from that alternative charge are used for certain purposes. California AB 1818 (20192020) — State government.
(1) Existing law authorizes airports to require rental car companies to collect a customer facility charge or an alternative customer facility charge under specified circumstances for purposes that include financing, designing, and constructing airport vehicle rental facilities and common-use transportation systems.
