Bill Public utilities: cooperation with immigration authorities. Under existing law, the Public Utilities Commission has regulatory authority over public utilities, including electrical corporations and gas corporations. California AB 2788 (20192020) — Public utilities: cooperation with immigration authorities.

Under existing law, the Public Utilities Commission has regulatory authority over public utilities, including electrical corporations and gas corporations. Local publicly owned electric utilities are under the direction of their governing boards.
