Bill Budget Act of 2019. This bill would amend the Budget Act of 2019 by appropriating $500,000,000 from the General Fund to be used for any purpose related to the Governor's March 4, 2020 proclamation of a state of emergency. This bill would authorize additional appropriations in increments of $50,000,000, up to a total appropriation of $1,000,000,000. The bill would amend the act to state the Legislature's intent that the administration work with stakeholders, including members of the Legislature and legislative staff, to develop strategies to be considered for inclusion in the Budget Act of 2020 to provide assistance related to the impacts of COVID-19. California SB 89 (20192020) — Budget Act of 2019.
