Existing law establishes the Department of Housing and Community Development in the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency. Existing law establishes a director of the department and authorizes them to perform all duties, exercise all powers, discharge all responsibility, and administer and enforce all laws, rules, and regulations under the jurisdiction of the department, among other duties.
