Local control and accountability plans: parent advisory committee: student advisory committee.
Existing law requires the governing board of each school district and each county superintendent of schools to adopt a local control and accountability plan and to annually update its local control and accountability plan, using a template for a local control and accountability plan and an annual update to the local control and accountability plan adopted by the State Board of Education, before July 1 of each year. Existing law requires the governing board of a school district to establish a parent advisory committee to provide advice to the governing board of the school district and the superintendent of the school district, and requires a county superintendent of schools to establish a parent advisory committee to provide advice to the county board of education and the county superintendent of schools, regarding certain requirements pertaining to school accountability.
