Existing law prohibits a person from using a recreational vessel unless, among other things, there is at least one wearable personal flotation device on board the vessel for each person on the vessel, as provided. Existing law provides for the establishment and enforcement of various product safety standards for consumer products, as provided. California AB 2146 (20232024) — Product safety: recreational water safety: wearable personal flotation devices: infants and children.

Existing law prohibits a person from using a recreational vessel unless, among other things, there is at least one wearable personal flotation device on board the vessel for each person on the vessel, as provided. Existing law provides for the establishment and enforcement of various product safety standards for consumer products, as provided. Existing law provides various requirements relating to safe recreational water use.
