Bill San Diego County Air Pollution Control District: governing board: alternate members. Existing law provides for the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District to have a governing board of 11 members, including 2 members representing the board of supervisors of the County of San Diego, the mayor or a city council member of the City of San Diego, a city council member from each of the 5 supervisorial districts of the county, and 3 public members who are appointed by the other members representing those local governments. Existing law requires the 5 city council members to be selected by city selection committees representing the cities of that supervisorial district. California AB 652 (20252026) — San Diego County Air Pollution Control District: governing board: alternate members.

Existing law provides for the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District to have a governing board of 11 members, including 2 members representing the board of supervisors of the County of San Diego, the mayor or a city council member of the City of San Diego, a city council member from each of the 5 supervisorial districts of the county, and 3 public members who are appointed by the other members representing those local governments. Existing law requires the 5 city council members to be selected by city selection committees representing the cities of that supervisorial district.
