Bill	Peace officers: deputy sheriffs.	Existing law establishes categories of peace officers with varying powers and authority to make arrests and carry firearms. California SB 229 (20252026) — Peace officers: deputy sheriffs.

Existing law establishes categories of peace officers with varying powers and authority to make arrests and carry firearms.
