Bill Military Enlistment School Performance Indicator For purposes of determining the level of attainment of each public high school, each school district, the state charter school institute, and the state as a whole on the postsecondary and workforce readiness performance indicator for accreditation, the bill adds enlistment in the military within a year of graduation as a measure of performance. Colorado SB 18-012 (2018A) — Military Enlistment School Performance Indicator

For purposes of determining the level of attainment of each public high school, each school district, the state charter school institute, and the state as a whole on the postsecondary and workforce readiness performance indicator for accreditation, the bill adds enlistment in the military within a year of graduation as a measure of performance. The department of education shall weight military enlistment equally with enrollment in postsecondary institutions for purposes of determining the level of attainment on the performance indicator.
