Bill Physician Assistants Financial Responsibility Requirements The act specifies that a physician assistant who has been practicing for at least 3 years must comply with the same financial responsibility requirements to which physicians are subject, namely to maintain professional liability coverage of at least $1 million per incident and $3 million aggregate per year. Colorado HB 20-1041 (2020A) — Physician Assistants Financial Responsibility Requirements

The act specifies that a physician assistant who has been practicing for at least 3 years must comply with the same financial responsibility requirements to which physicians are subject, namely to maintain professional liability coverage of at least $1 million per incident and $3 million aggregate per year.
