Bill RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION. Increases the penalties for violations of repeated driving without motor vehicle insurance and, beginning 1/1/2026, increases required motor vehicle insurance minimums. Clarifies the required coverage for shared cars that are made available through a peer-to-peer car-sharing program during the car-sharing period. Hawaii SB 2342 (2024) — RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Increases the penalties for violations of repeated driving without motor vehicle insurance and, beginning 1/1/2026, increases required motor vehicle insurance minimums. Clarifies the required coverage for shared cars that are made available through a peer-to-peer car-sharing program during the car-sharing period.
