Bill SCH CD-RENEW EDUCATOR LICENSE Amends the Educator Licensure Article of the School Code. With respect to the renewal of a Professional Educator License, provides that if a license holder's electronic mail address is available, the State Board of Education shall send him or her notification electronically that his or her license will lapse if not renewed, to be sent no more than 6 months prior to the license lapsing. Illinois HB 655 (100th) — SCH CD-RENEW EDUCATOR LICENSE

Amends the Educator Licensure Article of the School Code. With respect to the renewal of a Professional Educator License, provides that if a license holder's electronic mail address is available, the State Board of Education shall send him or her notification electronically that his or her license will lapse if not renewed, to be sent no more than 6 months prior to the license lapsing. Effective immediately.
