Bill PROP TX-BLIGHT REDUCTION Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning tax abatements after acquisition by a governmental unit, provides that the abatement applies to property acquired by a governmental unit under a blight reduction or abandoned property program administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Illinois SB 1795 (100th) — PROP TX-BLIGHT REDUCTION

Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning tax abatements after acquisition by a governmental unit, provides that the abatement applies to property acquired by a governmental unit under a blight reduction or abandoned property program administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority.
