Bill RENTAL HOUSING SUPPORT FEE Amends the Counties Code. Changes the Rental Housing Support Program State surcharge a county recorder must collect on each real-estate related document from $9 to $18. Increases the fee a county may charge for recording documents. Makes conforming changes. Amends the Rental Housing Support Program Act. Provides that annual receipts distributed under the Rental Housing Support Program shall be distributed with priority to local administering agencies from the county in which the annual receipts were collected. Provides that the Illinois Housing Development Authority shall wait at least 6 months after annual receipts are deposited into the Rental Housing Support Program Fund before distributing the annual receipts. Illinois HB 3878 (102nd) — RENTAL HOUSING SUPPORT FEE

Amends the Counties Code. Changes the Rental Housing Support Program State surcharge a county recorder must collect on each real-estate related document from $9 to $18. Increases the fee a county may charge for recording documents. Makes conforming changes. Amends the Rental Housing Support Program Act. Provides that annual receipts distributed under the Rental Housing Support Program shall be distributed with priority to local administering agencies from the county in which the annual receipts were collected.
