Bill ATHLETIC TRAINERS-VARIOUS Amends the Illinois Athletic Trainers Practice Act. Makes changes in provisions concerning definitions, including changing the definition of "athletic trainer" and adding a definition of "athletic training". Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation may take disciplinary action against a licensee for failing to maintain complete and accurate records of all treatments rendered or failing to provide copies of medical records as required by law. Illinois HB 4629 (102nd) — ATHLETIC TRAINERS-VARIOUS

Amends the Illinois Athletic Trainers Practice Act. Makes changes in provisions concerning definitions, including changing the definition of "athletic trainer" and adding a definition of "athletic training". Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation may take disciplinary action against a licensee for failing to maintain complete and accurate records of all treatments rendered or failing to provide copies of medical records as required by law.
