Bill SCH CD-DRIVER ED-WORKER SAFETY Amends the Courses of Study Article of the School Code. In provisions concerning safety education and driver education courses, provides that, beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the course instruction relating to highway construction and maintenance zones shall include at least one clock hour on worker safety in highway construction and maintenance zones. Illinois SB 3151 (103rd) — SCH CD-DRIVER ED-WORKER SAFETY

Amends the Courses of Study Article of the School Code. In provisions concerning safety education and driver education courses, provides that, beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the course instruction relating to highway construction and maintenance zones shall include at least one clock hour on worker safety in highway construction and maintenance zones. Effective immediately.
