Bill	MOTOR FUEL TAX-FIRE TRUCKS	Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Beginning on July 1, 2003, exempts fire protection districts from paying the tax imposed by these Acts on motor fuel purchased for use in fire trucks. Amends the Motor Fuel Tax Law. Beginning on July 1, 2003, exempts fire protection districts from paying the 19 cents per gallon tax on motor fuel (21.5 cents per gallon for diesel) purchased for use in fire trucks. Provides that the exemptions are not subject to the sunset provisions of the Acts. Illinois HB 117 (93rd) — MOTOR FUEL TAX-FIRE TRUCKS

Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Beginning on July 1, 2003, exempts fire protection districts from paying the tax imposed by these Acts on motor fuel purchased for use in fire trucks. Amends the Motor Fuel Tax Law. Beginning on July 1, 2003, exempts fire protection districts from paying the 19 cents per gallon tax on motor fuel (21.5 cents per gallon for diesel) purchased for use in fire trucks.
