Illinois HB 1280 (93rd) — CD CORR-CONSECUTIVE SENTENCES
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the court shall impose concurrent sentences when consecutive sentences are not mandated by law. Provides that the court may impose consecutive sentences when the court is of the opinion that consecutive sentences are required to protect the public from further criminal conduct of the defendant and the court sets forth the basis of its decision in the record.
