Bill HOUSNG AUTHORITY-TENANT INCOME Amends the Housing Authorities Act. Provides for additional items of a tenant's income to be excluded for the purpose of determining rent, including income received from participation in an economic self-sufficiency or other job training program or income earned after receiving TANF assistance for 6 months. Provides for a 12-month exclusion of all of an increase in income, followed by a 12-month exclusion of 50% of the increase, within a maximum period of 48 months. Illinois HB 1529 (93rd) — HOUSNG AUTHORITY-TENANT INCOME

Amends the Housing Authorities Act. Provides for additional items of a tenant's income to be excluded for the purpose of determining rent, including income received from participation in an economic self-sufficiency or other job training program or income earned after receiving TANF assistance for 6 months.
