Provides that a township or multi-township assessor who has served as a township or multi-township assessor for 12 years or more is qualified to hold office if he or she has a Certified Illinois Assessing Official certificate from the Illinois Property Assessment Institute with a minimum of 360 additional hours of successfully completed courses approved by the Department of Revenue, if at least 180 of the course hours required a written examination. Illinois HB 3079 (93rd) — PROP TAX-TOWNSHIP ASSESSORS
Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that a township or multi-township assessor who has served as a township or multi-township assessor for 12 years or more is qualified to hold office if he or she has a Certified Illinois Assessing Official certificate from the Illinois Property Assessment Institute with a minimum of 360 additional hours of successfully completed courses approved by the Department of Revenue, if at least 180 of the course hours required a written examination.
