Bill EPA-AIR POLLUTION CONST FEES Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Requires the owner or operator of a source for which an air pollution construction permit is required to pay a fee. Provides for the amount of the fee, depending on the type and estimated cost of the project. Provides that an applicant seeking an air pollution construction permit or modification of an issued air pollution construction permit shall include a certification of the estimated capital cost of the project with the application or request for modification. Provides that the fee requirements apply beginning on July 1, 2003. Provides that the fees shall be deposited into the Environmental Protection Permit and Inspection Fund. Illinois HB 3553 (93rd) — EPA-AIR POLLUTION CONST FEES

Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Requires the owner or operator of a source for which an air pollution construction permit is required to pay a fee. Provides for the amount of the fee, depending on the type and estimated cost of the project.
