Bill COSM-EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Act of 1985. Changes the graduation requirements to a program of 1500 hours (from a total of 1500 hours) to conform with other references throughout the Act. Provides that a majority of members of the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Committee then appointed constitutes a quorum. Provides that a majority of the quorum is required for a Committee decision. Amends the Electrologist Licensing Act. Lowers the number of continuing education units in electrology an applicant for licensure must show to qualify for a license without meeting all of the regular requirements for licensure. Illinois HB 468 (93rd) — COSM-EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Act of 1985.
