Bill INC TAX-CHECKOFF-VETERAN HOMES Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Creates a tax checkoff for the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund. Further amends the State Finance Act to create the Fund. Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act to provide that from appropriations to the Department from the Fund the Department shall purchase needed equipment and supplies to enhance the lives of the residents at and to enhance the operations of veterans' homes in Illinois. Illinois HB 5157 (93rd) — INC TAX-CHECKOFF-VETERAN HOMES

Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Creates a tax checkoff for the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund. Further amends the State Finance Act to create the Fund. Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act to provide that from appropriations to the Department from the Fund the Department shall purchase needed equipment and supplies to enhance the lives of the residents at and to enhance the operations of veterans' homes in Illinois. Effective immediately.
