Bill CHILD LABOR-SPORTS OFFICIAL Amends the Child Labor Law. In provisions requiring a parent or guardian to accompany a 12 or 13 year old minor who is officiating youth sports activities for a not-for-profit youth club, park district, or municipal parks and recreation department, provides that the requirement is also satisfied if an adult designated by the parent or guardian accompanies the minor. Illinois HB 6618 (93rd) — CHILD LABOR-SPORTS OFFICIAL

Amends the Child Labor Law. In provisions requiring a parent or guardian to accompany a 12 or 13 year old minor who is officiating youth sports activities for a not-for-profit youth club, park district, or municipal parks and recreation department, provides that the requirement is also satisfied if an adult designated by the parent or guardian accompanies the minor. Effective immediately.
