Bill PREVAILING WAGE-VARIOUS Amends the Prevailing Wage Act. Provides that "public works" means fixed works constructed by any public body (rather than fixed works constructed for public use by any public body). Provides that "public works" includes projects financed in whole or in part with loans or other funds made available pursuant to the Illinois FIRST program. Provides that "fixed works" means any change in real estate. Deletes, from the definition of "public body", a requirement that the body be authorized by law to construct public works or to enter into any contract for the construction of public works. works. Illinois SB 1212 (93rd) — PREVAILING WAGE-VARIOUS
