Bill STATE LIBRARY FUND Amends the State Library Act. Creates the State Library Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that moneys received by the State Library from certain sources shall be deposited into the Fund and may, subject to appropriation, be used to increase the collection of books, records, and holdings; to hold public forums; to purchase equipment and resource materials for the State Library; and for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the State Library building and grounds. Illinois SB 229 (93rd) — STATE LIBRARY FUND

Amends the State Library Act. Creates the State Library Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that moneys received by the State Library from certain sources shall be deposited into the Fund and may, subject to appropriation, be used to increase the collection of books, records, and holdings; to hold public forums; to purchase equipment and resource materials for the State Library; and for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the State Library building and grounds.
