Bill VEH CD-RR CROSSING STOP SIGNS Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that when the Illinois Commerce Commission has ordered the installation of luminous flashing signal or crossing gate devices at a railroad grade crossing, the Commission shall order the installation of temporary stop signs at the highway intersection with the grade crossing. Provides that the stop signs must remain in place until the crossing devices have been installed. Provides that the Commission has authority to assess the costs of installing temporary stop signs. Illinois SB 272 (93rd) — VEH CD-RR CROSSING STOP SIGNS

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that when the Illinois Commerce Commission has ordered the installation of luminous flashing signal or crossing gate devices at a railroad grade crossing, the Commission shall order the installation of temporary stop signs at the highway intersection with the grade crossing.
