Bill USED TIRE FEE INCREASE Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Increases the fee for retail sale of tires by 50 cents, which shall be distributed to the Department of Public Health. Amends the Department of Public Health Act to provide that the increase in the fee shall be distributed to county health departments based on the population of the county for expenses related to the West Nile Virus. Illinois SB 361 (93rd) — USED TIRE FEE INCREASE

Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Increases the fee for retail sale of tires by 50 cents, which shall be distributed to the Department of Public Health. Amends the Department of Public Health Act to provide that the increase in the fee shall be distributed to county health departments based on the population of the county for expenses related to the West Nile Virus. Effective July 1, 2003.
