Bill LAND SURVEYORS-REDEFINE PRACT Amends the Illinois Professional Land Surveyor Act of 1989. Makes changes in provisions concerning the declaration of public policy, the definition of "design professional", and the definition of the practice of land surveying. In provisions requiring the Department to maintain membership in the National Council of Engineering Examiners, provides that the Department may maintain membership in a similar organization. Makes changes to the qualifications for licensure. In provisions concerning the use of a seal, provides that signatures generated by computer or rubber stamps shall not be permitted. Illinois SB 698 (93rd) — LAND SURVEYORS-REDEFINE PRACT

Amends the Illinois Professional Land Surveyor Act of 1989. Makes changes in provisions concerning the declaration of public policy, the definition of "design professional", and the definition of the practice of land surveying. In provisions requiring the Department to maintain membership in the National Council of Engineering Examiners, provides that the Department may maintain membership in a similar organization.
