Bill PROP TX-NOTICE OF PAYMENTS Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that when any mortgagee pays the taxes charged on any property, the mortgagee, within 7 business days of the payment, must notify the mortgagor of the property, by certified mail, of (1) the date the taxes were paid, (2) the amount of taxes paid, and (3) which installment was paid. Illinois HB 1428 (94th) — PROP TX-NOTICE OF PAYMENTS

Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that when any mortgagee pays the taxes charged on any property, the mortgagee, within 7 business days of the payment, must notify the mortgagor of the property, by certified mail, of (1) the date the taxes were paid, (2) the amount of taxes paid, and (3) which installment was paid. Effective immediately.
