Bill VEH CD-CDL DISQUALIFY-NOTICE Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a disqualification of commercial driving privileges by the Secretary of State does not become effective until the person is notified in writing, by certified mail (rather than merely in writing), of the impending disqualification and advised that a hearing may be requested. Illinois HB 2348 (94th) — VEH CD-CDL DISQUALIFY-NOTICE

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a disqualification of commercial driving privileges by the Secretary of State does not become effective until the person is notified in writing, by certified mail (rather than merely in writing), of the impending disqualification and advised that a hearing may be requested. Effective immediately.
