| Bill | BOILER PRESSURE SAFETY-BONDS | Amends the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act. Replaces references to the Department of Nuclear Safety with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. Removes references to pressure vessels containing the API ASME Code symbol in the determination of maximum and minimum operating temperatures of a pressure vessel by using the applicable section of the ASME Code. Exempts all pressure vessels containing liquified petroleum regulated by the Liquified Petroleum Regulation Act. Exempts the listed types of hot water boilers, pressure vessels, and water conditioning equipment from the inspection and certification process under the Act. Changes the time limit for filing reports concerning boiler or pressure vessel certificate inspections and owner-user certificate inspections to 10 days (from 30 days). Provides that the inspection reports may be filed electronically. Repeals the Section requiring the Chief and Deputy Inspectors to furnish bonds. Makes other changes.
