Bill	PROBATE-SMALL ESTATE-ACTION	Amends provisions of the Probate Act of 1975 concerning small estate affidavits. Provides that any action properly taken under those provisions, as amended by Public Act 93-877 (which increased the permissible maximum value of the decedent's personal estate from $50,000 to $100,000), on or after the effective date of that Public Act is valid regardless of the date of death of the decedent. Illinois SB 460 (94th) — PROBATE-SMALL ESTATE-ACTION

Amends provisions of the Probate Act of 1975 concerning small estate affidavits. Provides that any action properly taken under those provisions, as amended by Public Act 93-877 (which increased the permissible maximum value of the decedent's personal estate from $50,000 to $100,000), on or after the effective date of that Public Act is valid regardless of the date of death of the decedent. Effective immediately.
